Keri
Keri has 30 years of experience in the multifamily industry, 20 of which were spent leading and growing operational teams. She developed an owner mentality at Archstone, where she spent the first decade of her career. That mindset continued at Alliance Residential, where she cultivated a deep understanding of third-party management and the lease-up cycle. After leading markets both small and large, she transitioned from operations to the corporate office to work directly for the CEO, overseeing Corporate Strategic Planning.
Bringing an experimental mindset and deep understanding of operations into a corporate strategic role, she began to build capacity and bridge operational gaps on a far broader scale. She developed an asset-manager-mindset workshop, leading more than 100 regional leaders and corporate teams through an experience designed to close the widening gap in performance perspectives. Through this work, she found that the quickest way to unlock capacity and prepare a company for growth is by recalibrating the role that sits at the center of it all. This experience offered an entirely new way to surmount operational challenges and ultimately shifted her perspective on what is possible in the industry.
Keri would then learn the complexities of software as a service and the mechanics of a start-up at a market data company before moving into an independent consulting role. Through conversations with more than a hundred organizations, she came to understand the depth of universal challenges across the industry. This led to the development of the Portfolio Project and Corporate Clarity series, solutions designed to address problems software cannot. She is passionate about sharing the approaches she has built and discovered throughout her career to help create sustainable changes for the teams she works with.
Keri holds a broker’s license in Arizona, and when not working, she hikes the mountains of Arizona, exercises her passion for digital photography, and denies wanting a border collie.
Alice
A prolific writer, nothing gives Alice as much enjoyment as solving puzzles, a mentality she applies to her work, her schooling, and her hobbies. She brings an outside-industry perspective to 7°, researching other industries, their methods, and their problems to discover and innovate new techniques. She writes much of the prose found throughout 7° and manages many of the behind-the-scenes tasks, from finances to technology to editing.
Alice holds a degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, which has not allowed her to win the argument with Keri that Northern Arizona is superior to Phoenix. When not at work, she creates games of all kinds, brews fancy tea, and inches closer to maybe publishing a novel.
Dakota
A lifelong foodie, Dakota brings an experimental spirit to everything she does, whether she’s navigating new cuisines or refining the small operational details that contribute to the simple implementation at 7°. She handles outreach and scheduling with the same precision she uses in her culinary world, ensuring partners get clear communication, thoughtful coordination, and an experience that feels effortless.
Outside of 7°, Dakota experiments with unconventional flavor combinations. When she isn’t building new dishes, she’s exploring farmers’ markets, perfecting fermentation projects, and convincing everyone that there is no such thing as too much chili crisp.
Nate
Nate brings the same rhythm and curiosity to 7° that he brings to his lifelong passion for music. He specializes in support and systems, keeping the operational backbone running smoothly and making sure the small details behind the scenes stay in sync.
When he isn’t optimizing workflows, he’s rotating through his collection of acoustic and electric guitars, chasing new sounds and refining old ones with the patience of a true craftsman. Outside of work, Nate is most at home in the outdoors, cliff diving, fishing, and mountain biking across Northern Arizona. He’s also a magnet for hummingbirds and is convinced they communicate with him, though he admits the messages may just be requests for quieter guitar solos or more sugar water.
